All Taxi drivers in Samoa work for a local taxi stand. You will find their contact information on the side of the car usually painted on the door. Rates start as low as $5 WST for a short ride down the block to as high as $70 WST or more for a ride to the international airport. It is best to negotiate with your driver before starting your journey, that way there is no surprises at the end or hassles. Just be friendly, be polite, and remember this is how your driver makes a living and provides for their family. It's not rude to ask for a discount if you are riding with the same driver a lot, but don't forget the price of fuel in Samoa is expensive due to our remote location.
